Islington Heritage have received funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) to create an archive focusing on the London Borough of Islington’s LGBT heritage. Islington has been highly influential in the growth of the LGBT community, its organisations and rights through the 20th and into the 21st century.
Therapeutic Riding - please note that this is only for children.
The farm has been offering Riding Therapy for children with disabilities for over 40 years. We are an approved riding centre by both the Riding for the Disabled Association and the British Horse Society.
Paradise Press is the imprint of the Gay Authors’ Workshop, set up in 1999 to get work published in the face of indifference by mainstream publishers to lesbian and gay writing.
They provide editorial and practical support for individual authors publishing through Paradise Press; this includes a process of collective discussion and review.
